Inside the restaurant there is plenty of seating, as well as a few tables and chairs for outdoor seating. The décor has a quaint, Victorian ice cream parlor feel to it. The menu overflows with all kinds of options: from the ordinary, such as the chocolate chocolate chip and ultimate vanilla, to the slightly more exotic, such as lychee, green tea or macadamia nut. You can get a cone or even buy a pint to take home with you. If you’re interested in something even more exotic, Bubbies also makes mochi ice cream, which is a Japanese dessert of ice cream, covered in a sweetened rice flower. The mochi is definitely worth trying, and, like the ice cream, comes in a variety of different flavors, such as vanilla, azuki bean (a Japanese sweetened bean) and Guava. If that’s not enough to get your taste buds going, they also have numerous ice cream sundaes with fun names such as "running on empty" and "rock me on the water". In addition, if you’re more thirsty than hungry, Bubbies also has numerous drinks such as tea, coffee and smoothies on offer. Or consider trying the bubble drink which is particularly popular in Hawaii. It is made from a blend of fruit purees (or even coffee) poured over little chewy, tapioca balls.

With great prices and a wide variety of different ice cream and drink options, it’s easy to see why Bubbies is so popular with locals. I ordered a mail order product to be shipped to the states from Bubbies. To make a long story short, the package was received late (after I asked for it to be cancelled) and the ice cream was rotten by that time.
